I had issues with soloing the DZ as well. However, thanks to the excellent in-game matchmaking, I was able to find suitable people to play with. Once matched, I'd always say hello and get quick feedback of who had mics and what our objectives were. If no once responded, I'd just back out and rematch. I personally can't wait for what surprises are in full release.
I can't believe we still don't have king of the hill, oddball and assault. I play lots of team arena and continually get arena breakout, but I can't stand breakout. 343 posted last week about some new game types in the future (probably halo 6) .
Remember the game is rpg first, it's not meant to be realistic like RB6 siege. I was in the alpha and I'm so hyped, I pre-ordered the gold edition.
Overall I enjoy the beta, but JIP and unbalanced teams ruin my experience. I join in 20 to 4 and I am expected to have fun. No one uses there mics and people just avoid reviving you, even know your both behind cover. This game needs a ranked playlist otherwise I will never take it serious.
Yeah, it now much faster than the previous updates. Really enjoying this beta, can't wait to see other modes in the future!
Yeah, I like how they are putting out new content, every month. However, I've heard nothing about some of the competitive modes like oddball, KotH and assault. Maybe they are having a hard time fitting them in with the new abilities. I personally am addicted to this game and can barely play others. I haven't even touched fallout 4 in weeks.
I finally got into a game and was able to play two matches. Now back to searching. It was fun while it lasted
Yeah, I found a few players, but then it backed out and now back to endless searching. The game was due out tomorrow, so maybe it will get ironed out tonight.
Now have update 1.02.007 and I am still searching for players after 5 minutes.

I want KotH, oddball and assault in arena, ASAP. We need less breakout and more variety. I also want to see who my friends are grouped with, what game type they are playing and how much time is left.

Graphics are okay, its more about the quality and amount of content. I personally haven't experience any significant bugs. Conversations are a bit weak and wish there were more consequences to my choices. I find the combat to be fine and VATS now requires faster planning and puts more pressure on your decisions. I sure hope it is, as I'm going all melee. I entered a raider hangout yesterday and was being overwhelmed. Multiple raiders and one had a mini gun. I had to reloaded and continually change my strategy, until it finally worked. I'd say it's feasible, but definitely more challenging than gunning someone down.
I've been playing lots of fps as of late. To switch things up, melee maestro seems like a nice change of pace.
This video highlights the issues with boss take down system. He fired one shot and destroyed the boss. I think % awarded based on damage would be a better system.
My ranks and stats reset. For me it hasn't been ultra smooth.
With the mindset come for the campaign stay for the multiplayer, we are good. I've been watching halo pro streams and they all seem to be mostly happy with the competitive side of mp. With many options up front and more to come, it looks like lots fun ahead. If campaign is similar to H4 I'll be happy. Either way less than a day !!
Well I preordered last week and preloaded when first available. After reading this update, I checked my file out and found it said 0mb. I physically watched the preload download and my xbox bandwidth stats show over 60gb. I don't know if there is an issue or not, and have now have begun reinstalling the file. I don't want any hiccups for launch day. Its a minor inconvenience, but I am glad I caught it early to avoid launch day disaster. Can't wait for this to drop.
